Your Rolf, myofascial release, Guild Certified practitioner
Joel Gheiler is the owner of Boston Rolf and a Guild Certified Rolf Practitioner with over 20 years of hands-on experience working through the original Rolf Method of Structural Integration, as taught by Dr. Ida Rolf prior to the later trademarked Rolfing® system. His work combines the structural principles of the Rolf Method with refined myofascial release and somatic therapy to help clients improve posture, movement, and body awareness.
Joel trained at the Guild for Structural Integration preserving the depth of Ida Rolf’s original work. Through this training he developed a deep understanding of the fascial network and how myofascial release and somatic therapy can restore natural alignment and functional movement.
Working with Joel often feels less like a clinical session and more like being supported by someone who genuinely listens and cares. His attentive approach blends precise fascial work with somatic awareness, helping the body reorganize, reduce pain, and move with greater balance.
Today Joel practices in Boston’s Back Bay, offering structural work rooted in the Rolf Method alongside myofascial release and somatic therapy for athletes and individuals seeking lasting change in movement and well-being.
25 Years Rolf
“I was classically trained through the Rolf Guild, a school devoted to preserving Dr. Ida Rolf’s original teachings — the hands-on myofascial release that historically preceded the trademarked Rolfing® system. For you, this means a powerful, thoughtful session focused entirely on your needs.”
